Our experienced therapists work collaboratively with you and your healthcare providers to create personalized treatment plans addressing your unique needs. From initial assessment to ongoing support, we ensure a seamless therapeutic experience.

Understanding Occupational Therapy's Transformative Impact

Occupational Therapy is a holistic healthcare profession focused on enabling individuals to participate in daily activities (occupations) that bring meaning and purpose to their lives. Our specialized therapists assess how physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional barriers affect your ability to engage in self-care, productivity, and leisure activities. Through evidence-based interventions, we help build practical skills, modify environments, and develop compensatory strategies to enhance independence and quality of life.

Our approach recognizes that meaningful engagement in everyday routines is fundamental to overall wellbeing and mental health. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety management, executive functioning, sensory processing, or physical limitations, our tailored interventions address the specific challenges impacting your daily performance and satisfaction. The ultimate goal is to empower you to live with greater confidence, resilience, and autonomy across all life domains.

Comprehensive Support for Diverse Needs

Our specialized Occupational Therapy services address a wide spectrum of health conditions and functional challenges. We provide targeted interventions for anxiety disorders (including GAD, panic disorder, social anxiety, and specific phobias), helping clients develop practical coping skills and gradually rebuild confidence in challenging situations. For those with ADHD, our executive function coaching enhances organizational abilities, time management, and emotional regulation.

Clients with autism spectrum disorder benefit from our sensory integration therapy, social skills development, and daily living supports tailored to their unique neurodevelopmental profile. We also offer evidence-based interventions for chronic pain management, depression, PTSD, OCD, grief/loss, and cognitive rehabilitation following traumatic brain injury. Our holistic approach ensures personalized treatment plans addressing each client’s specific symptoms, functional barriers, and meaningful goals.

Medicare Pathways to Affordable Therapy

M3 – Allied Health Services for Chronic Disease Management (CDM)

For individuals with chronic medical conditions like diabetes, arthritis, or chronic pain, your GP can prepare a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement. This provides access to five subsidized allied health sessions annually, with Medicare rebates of approximately $58.30 per session (2024 rates). Typical out-of-pocket costs range from $60-$120 per session depending on provider fees.

M7 – Focused Psychological Strategies Services

If you’re managing a diagnosed mental health condition such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD, the Better Access Program offers up to 10 therapy sessions yearly with qualified Mental Health Endorsed Occupational Therapists. Medicare rebates of approximately $82.80 per session apply, with gap payments typically between $70-$140 per session.

M10 – Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorder Services

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or eligible developmental disabilities can access specialized early intervention services through this funding model. Referrals generally come from pediatricians or psychiatrists, with similar rebate structures to the CDM pathway.

M16 – Eating Disorders Services

For diagnosed eating disorders, comprehensive treatment plans can provide up to 40 subsidized sessions annually (20 mental health and 20 dietetic services). Mental Health Endorsed Occupational Therapists can deliver these services with rebates of approximately $82.80 per session.

Private Health Insurance Options

Many Australian health funds offer rebates for Occupational Therapy under their Extras cover, including Bupa, Medibank Private, HCF, nib, Australian Unity, and many others. Rebate amounts typically range from $30-$80 per session depending on your level of cover, with annual limits usually between $300-$800.
